Job Description
A strategic role focused on developing and executing go-to-market strategies, messaging, and sales enablement for Pure Storage's Public Sector solutions, aiming to drive market leadership and customer engagement within government, education, and public safety organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the value proposition for the Public Sector market
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in government, education, and public safety sectors
- Develop go-to-market strategies, including segmentation, messaging, and sales enablement plans for the Public Sector
- Create compelling content such as solution briefs, whitepapers, presentations, and case studies tailored to Public Sector audiences
- Equip sales teams with knowledge, tools, and resources to effectively sell Pure Storage solutions in the Public Sector
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop demos, solution architectures, and campaigns targeting the Public Sector
- Represent Pure Storage at industry events and customer engagements to promote solutions and share success stories
- Monitor and analyze competitive activities within the Public Sector to develop differentiation strategies
Requirements
- Seven (7) years of product marketing experience, with a strong focus on enterprise software or hardware solutions.
- Experience in the Public Sector market, including Federal, State, Local government, Education, understanding its unique procurement processes, regulatory environments, and solution requirements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and concise messaging for diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies and compelling narratives.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product management, and corporate marketing teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies, including target audience segmentation, messaging, and sales enablement plans tailored for the Public Sector.
- Ability to develop engaging and persuasive content such as solution briefs, whitepapers, presentations, website copy, sales playbooks, and case studies relevant to Public Sector organizations.
- Experience in developing Public Sector-specific demos and solution architectures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to equip Public Sector sales teams with knowledge, tools, and resources, including delivering impactful training sessions and developing sales collateral.
- Experience partnering with Public Sector teams to capture business priorities and feedback, and working with marketing to execute campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives targeting the Public Sector.
- Ability to represent Pure Storage at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements focused on the Public Sector, evangelizing solutions and sharing customer success stories.
- Monitoring and analyzing competitive activities within the Public Sector to develop strategies for differentiation and market leadership.

Salary range of 157,000 - 236,000 USD annually
