Job Description
The HR Data Specialist is responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and quality of employee data within the Workday system, providing support across the employee lifecycle, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimize HR data processes in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide responsive support for employee lifecycle inquiries and transactions such as payroll, benefits, and mobility.
- Manage the end-to-end employee data lifecycle in Workday, including processing hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
- Serve as a quality checkpoint to ensure employee data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Identify and implement system and process improvements to enhance data quality, efficiency, and automation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure a cohesive data experience and service excellence.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience managing employee data in an HCM system like Workday or a comparable platform.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to data integrity, accuracy, and a process data-driven mindset.
- Familiarity with data governance principles, compliance, privacy standards, and relevant labor laws in respective regions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to build relationships.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and work effectively across time zones globally.
