Job Description
This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure tools and services to support global engineering teams, with a focus on automation, system performance, and integration across hybrid cloud environments, combining software engineering and systems operations expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain critical tools and services to ensure reliability and scalability of core infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and automate software platforms and frameworks for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
- Manage end-to-end system design, operation, and performance analysis across hybrid cloud environments.
- Develop and integrate custom software solutions with internal back-end systems to support infrastructure services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system readiness, capacity planning, and adherence to DevOps and SRE best practices.
- Participate in project planning and drive infrastructure modernization and service improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 5 years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar Site Reliability Engineering role.
- Proven software engineering skills with hands-on coding experience in at least one modern programming language such as Go or Python.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, robust implementation, successful delivery, and long-term maintenance of complex software systems.
- Strong infrastructure proficiency, with the ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and debug enterprise-level environments across compute, networking, and storage layers.
- Experience working with Infrastructure as Code tools, e.g., Terraform.
- Experience with advanced automation CI/CD tools, e.g., GitHub Actions, ArgoCD.
- Deep experience with containers and container orchestration systems such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- A structured, analytical approach to problem-solving, combined with clear, professional communication skills and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability and willingness to work from the Prague office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
