Job Description
The Security Product Manager for FlashArray is responsible for developing and implementing security strategies, ensuring compliance, managing vulnerabilities, and collaborating with teams to build secure storage solutions that protect sensitive data and meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the security roadmap and end-to-end vision for security features such as encryption, IAM, and multi-tenancy for FlashArray.
- Architect and manage compliance certifications by translating regulatory frameworks into technical product requirements.
- Own the vulnerability lifecycle, including threat assessment, CVE tracking, and prioritization of security patches.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales to communicate security protocols and position the product as a leader in data resilience and cybersecurity.
- Act as the security authority for the executive team, providing strategic guidance on risk management and security investments.
Requirements
- Deep Security Domain Expertise with advanced technical command of encryption standards, authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, LDAP, and authorization frameworks, with a proven ability to apply these to enterprise storage or distributed systems.
- Regulatory Acumen with deep familiarity with global security regulations and frameworks including NIST, EU Cybersecurity Act, PCI-DSS, and the ability to navigate the certification process for enterprise-grade hardware and software.
- Strategic Product Leadership with a consistent track record of developing security visions and execution plans at scale, balancing security requirements with high-performance user experiences.
- Exceptional communication skills and executive presence, capable of leading cross-functional teams through high-stakes security incidents or complex architectural shifts.
- Location requirement to work primarily in the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary range: 181,000 - 299,000 USD
