Job Description
The role involves ensuring the quality and interoperability of FlashArray storage products through system testing, automation, and defect analysis, primarily in cloud and virtualization environments, to support innovative data storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure FlashArray products and features are shipped with high quality.
- Create system test designs focusing on feature interoperability at scale.
- Automate workflows and identify high-value defects to assure product quality.
- Collaborate with development, support, and escalation teams to reproduce and root cause customer issues.
- Identify, analyze, and document defects discovered during testing.
- Design and build tools to efficiently execute and triage large volumes of test scripts.
- Understand feature inner workings to target specific failure domains and improve fault tolerance.
- Continuously identify test gaps and perform root cause analysis to close defect loops.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 7 years of software system testing experience, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of System testing using end-to-end Automation
- Experience in qualifying enterprise products in cloud and container platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker
- Experience with virtualization technologies including VMware, Hyper-V, OpenStack
- Experience with multiple operating systems including Linux, Solaris, Windows
- Hands-on automation experience in Python or similar scripting languages
- Ability to independently deploy and maintain test environments
- Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
- Capable of prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Natural curiosity with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Willing and able to work in an open office, team environment
