Job Description
This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of FlashArray storage products through system testing, automation, and collaboration with development teams, with a focus on cloud and enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure FlashArray products and features are shipped with high quality
- Create system test designs focusing on feature interoperability at scale
- Automate workflows and identify high-value defects to assure product quality
- Collaborate with development, support, and escalation teams to reproduce and diagnose customer issues
- Identify, analyze, and document defects discovered during testing
- Design and build tools to efficiently execute and triage large volumes of test scripts
- Understand feature internals to target specific failure domains and improve fault tolerance
- Continuously identify test gaps, perform root cause analysis, and close defect loops
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 7 years of software system testing experience, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of System testing using end-to-end Automation.
- Experience in qualifying enterprise products in cloud and container platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience with virtualization technologies including VMware, Hyper-V, and OpenStack.
- Experience with multiple operating systems including Linux, Solaris, and Windows.
- Hands-on automation experience in Python or similar scripting languages.
- Ability to independently deploy and maintain test environments.
- Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Natural curiosity with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willing and able to work in an open office, team environment.
