Job Description
The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing SAP ABAP solutions to support a global SAP S/4HANA implementation, including creating custom programs, interfaces, and Fiori applications, while ensuring system performance and stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs to support SAP S/4HANA modules like FI, SD, and MM.
- Design and implement SAP interfaces such as IDOCs, RFCs, and OData Web Services for system integration.
- Develop modern Fiori applications using UI5, Fiori Elements, CDS Views, and BTP RAP to enhance user experience.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure solution stability and efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
- Provide Level 3 support by troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues to minimize operational downtime.
Requirements
- Deep proficiency in SAP ABAP with at least 4 years of experience in developing robust solutions using modern ABAP techniques, including Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP), Interfaces, and Enhancement Frameworks.
- Strong, hands-on experience with core SAP technologies such as CDS Views, OData services, and an understanding of ABAP on HANA, with experience in BTP RAP being highly desirable.
- Demonstrated skill in building and troubleshooting SAP interfaces, including IDOCs, RFCs, and Web Services, to facilitate complex data synchronization.
- Proven ability to develop user-centric Fiori applications using UI5, Fiori Elements, and modern SAP development techniques to enhance business workflow efficiency.
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills with experience in performance tuning and transport management to ensure production stability.
- Ability to design and optimize custom applications critical to a global SAP S/4HANA implementation, including developing, testing, and deploying complex, custom ABAP programs.
- Experience in architecting scalable data exchange solutions by designing and implementing SAP interfaces such as IDOCs, RFCs, and OData Web Services for seamless integration with internal and external systems.
- Ability to lead code reviews, perform advanced debugging, and execute performance tuning to ensure solutions are efficient, adhere to best practices, and deliver maximum business value.
- Experience in owning the technical documentation lifecycle for developed solutions and acting as a Level 3 support expert to resolve critical, complex technical issues and minimize operational downtime.
