Job Description
The role involves leading the development and execution of product strategies for observability, monitoring, and manageability features within a Kubernetes-based data storage platform, focusing on integrating AI-driven insights and ensuring scalable, user-friendly management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product strategy for Observability, Monitoring, and Manageability across Kubernetes platform.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and customer success teams to deliver management workflows, dashboards, and automated remediation features.
- Lead initiatives to integrate AI Copilot features to improve operational efficiency and user productivity.
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from roadmap development to delivery.
- Engage with enterprise customers and cloud partners to understand pain points and prioritize features for scalable observability.
- Work with go-to-market and field teams to communicate technical capabilities and drive customer adoption.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in Kubernetes observability, monitoring, and AIOps ecosystems.
Requirements
- 10 years of product management experience with at least 5 years in Kubernetes, observability platforms, or cloud-native infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and modern monitoring alerting systems.
- Strong grasp of Kubernetes internals, including cluster and operator management, Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs), and control plane components.
- Proven record of building data and operations visibility solutions that enhance manageability and user experience.
- Experience incorporating AI Copilot or generative AI (genAI)-driven developer productivity tools into enterprise platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills, with the ability to work across product, engineering, and executive teams.
