Job Description
This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and secure backend services on AWS, focusing on automation, performance optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation and business innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and operate backend services and infrastructure on AWS with high availability, security, and performance
- Manage day-2 operations including monitoring, alerting, cost optimization, performance tuning, and incident response
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software and infrastructure delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and workflows
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance across infrastructure
Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure, including designing, deploying, and maintaining highly available, scalable, and secure systems.
- Proficiency in Python for backend development and automation, with a strong understanding of how to build and operate reliable services.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and concepts, and a proven ability to build and maintain automated delivery pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, along with a solid understanding of data flows and management.
- Ability to design, deploy, and operate backend services and infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Experience managing day-2 operations, including monitoring, alerting, cost optimization, performance tuning, and incident response to maintain system health and efficiency.
- Work from the Prague, Czechia office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
