Job Description
This role involves designing and building scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure tools for data storage systems, focusing on automation, distributed systems, and developer experience to support global infrastructure deployment and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance core features of the Dominator ecosystem for high-scale infrastructure automation.
- Implement solutions for Identity and Access Management and Virtual Machine Management to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
- Automate and optimize infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operational workflows to improve developer velocity.
- Identify system bottlenecks and technical debt, and develop high-performance solutions to ensure system stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define platform requirements and drive product delivery and reliability.
Requirements
- Deep proficiency in the Go programming language and experience building high-performance, concurrent systems.
- Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain large-scale distributed systems and associated configuration management tools.
- Strong practical knowledge of Linux systems internals and experience with system automation, shell scripting, and deployment pipelines CI/CD.
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and/or experience with Virtual Machine Management platforms like OpenStack.
- An engineering mindset focused on robust solutions, demonstrated by excellent code review skills and a commitment to writing comprehensive tests.
- Experience in developing and enhancing core features of a complex ecosystem, focusing on high-scale infrastructure automation for configuration management, image deployment, and secure fleet synchronization across cloud and on-premises platforms.
- Ability to drive the design and implementation of solutions for Identity and Access Management and Virtual Machine Management to ensure scalability, reliability, and security of infrastructure.
- Experience automating and optimizing infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operations workflows to improve developer velocity.
- Experience identifying system bottlenecks and technical debt within distributed machine fleets and implementing high-performance solutions to ensure system stability and operational excellence.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with development, security, and operations teams to define platform requirements and drive impact on product delivery and reliability.
- Willingness to work primarily from the Bengaluru office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
