Job Description
This role involves designing and implementing automated, multi-platform CI/CD pipelines to enhance software development and deployment processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve build efficiency, reliability, and developer productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated, multi-platform build and release pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Improve developer productivity through build optimization techniques such as caching, parallelization, and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain scripting and automation solutions in Python, Golang, and Bash for build, packaging, and deployment workflows.
- Define and enforce best practices for version control, dependency management, and artifact management to ensure software reproducibility and compliance.
- Integrate testing (unit, integration, performance) into CI/CD pipelines and establish monitoring using tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end CI CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
- Mastery of modern build systems such as Maven, Gradle, Bazel, CMake, and advanced version control practices, including branching strategies and Git workflows.
- Strong proficiency in software engineering with demonstrated ability to write robust, maintainable automation code in languages such as Python, Golang, or Groovy.
- Practical experience with containerization technologies Docker and orchestration Kubernetes, coupled with knowledge of artifact and configuration management tools.
- Significant experience in designing and implementing automated, multi-platform build and release pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Ability to significantly improve developer productivity by implementing advanced build optimization techniques, including caching, parallelization, and containerization.
- Experience in developing and maintaining scripting and automation solutions using Python, Golang, and Bash to manage complex build, packaging, and deployment workflows.
- Experience in defining and enforcing best practices for version control (Git), dependency management, and artifact management to ensure reproducibility, traceability, and compliance of all software releases.
- Experience leading the integration of unit, integration, and performance testing into CI CD pipelines.
- Experience establishing proactive monitoring and observability using tools like Grafana and Prometheus to maintain system reliability.
- Troubleshooting complex build and release issues.
- Ability to work from the Bengaluru office in an in-office environment, in compliance with company policies.
