Job Description
This role involves leading the strategy and execution of complex, high-value enterprise deals by developing innovative pricing structures, financial models, and cross-functional collaboration to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the data storage industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and structuring of high-value, complex enterprise deals to optimize opportunities and manage financial risk.
- Develop comprehensive business cases and articulate value propositions to stakeholders for major pursuits.
- Identify market patterns and conduct competitor analysis to inform innovative pricing and monetization strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Sales, Legal, Finance, Product) to facilitate deal execution and troubleshoot issues.
- Share best practices, lead knowledge transfer, and communicate deal strategies to executive leadership.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of operational experience in functions like Strategy, Business Development, or Deal Desk at a technology firm.
- Demonstrated mastery in formulating complex business cases, financial modeling, and structuring high-value transactions.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives and executive-level presentations that drive decision-making and articulate value to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong sense of accountability and a self-starting, analytical mindset capable of thriving in ambiguous, fast-paced environments to rapidly create solutions and manage critical deal escalations.
- Deep understanding of how business model decisions impact the operating model and the ability to creatively structure solutions that align a customer’s financial objectives with company growth goals.
- Ability to own end-to-end deal strategy, model, and creatively structure non-standard, high-value enterprise deals, ensuring opportunity optimization while managing financial risk and maintaining corporate compliance.
- Experience in driving profitability and growth by developing holistic business cases and articulating the full value proposition of diverse deal structures to key customer and GTM stakeholders.
- Ability to facilitate cross-functional execution by orchestrating time-sensitive decisions among Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product teams, troubleshooting issues, managing deal momentum, and driving process efficiency.
- Proficiency in business model analysis and translating market competitor insights into actionable pricing and monetization strategies.
