Job Description
This role involves leading and executing US SOX compliance and operational audit programs within a high-growth tech company, acting as a strategic advisor to global teams, and leveraging technology and data analytics to improve audit processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end execution of the US SOX compliance program, including planning, risk assessment, control evaluation, testing, and reporting.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of SOX activities.
- Drive process improvements and leverage technology and data analytics tools to enhance audit efficiency.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to global business partners on controls, process changes, and remediation plans.
- Support operational audits, risk assessments of channel partners, reviews of contract manufacturers, and other special projects.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in leading and executing US SOX compliance programs, including a strong working knowledge of US PCAOB and SEC guidance such as Accounting Standard 5.
- Proven ability to evaluate and assess complex business and IT processes and controls, with familiarity across major business applications such as SAP, Salesforce, and cloud service environments.
- A track record of using technology to enhance audit efficiency, specifically through audit automation, data analytics, or similar tools such as genAI and SQL.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with proficiency in written and verbal English.
- Experience in leading and executing US SOX compliance programs.
- Ability to collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audit programs.
- Ability to evaluate and assess complex business and IT processes and controls.
- Experience in leveraging technology and data analytics tools to influence more efficient and effective assessments.
- Ability to serve as a strategic advisor to global business partners, providing guidance on controls, evaluating process changes, and developing remediation plans.
- Experience in supporting operational audits, channel partner risk assessments, contract manufacturer reviews, and other special projects.
- Willingness to work primarily from the Prague office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
