The role involves providing legal support for procurement activities, including contract review, negotiation, and drafting of vendor agreements, to support the company's growth and ensure legal compliance across various internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Negotiate and review vendor contracts, including Master Services Agreements, SOWs, NDAs, and licensing agreements.
Collaborate with procurement, legal, finance, IT, HR, marketing, and sales teams to support legal documentation and transactions.
Draft, manage, and tailor legal templates and agreements to meet specific client and vendor needs.
Provide rapid legal support to internal teams, managing legal risks and ensuring compliance.
Assist in developing legal strategies, process improvements, and training related to vendor agreements and procurement.
Requirements
JD from an ABA-accredited law school and admitted to a U.S. state bar organization for the jurisdiction where the candidate is working and in good standing
At least 2 years of experience in agreements review and negotiations
Experience drafting, reviewing, managing, and negotiating vendor agreements, including for the purchase of hardware, software, or SaaS cloud solutions
Ability to provide contract review and negotiation support for inbound transactions contracts, including vendor agreements, working closely with procurement and collaborating with internal stakeholders such as IT, HR, Finance, Marketing, and Sales
Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a high volume of NDAs, SOWs, and POC agreements
Ability to manage one-off contracts and tailor standard templates to meet specific client needs without compromising company interests
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trusted relationships with internal clients
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a growing legal team and cross-functionally across the organization
Ability to deliver rapid legal support, manage risk effectively, and uphold high standards of responsiveness
Exhibit grace under pressure and be comfortable operating in changing and challenging situations
