Job Description
A Java Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality virtualization and storage applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions in a dynamic, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications.
- Implement virtualization features and technologies to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Own the development and delivery of FlashArray virtualization plugins from concept to production.
- Analyze and resolve complex challenges across virtualization platforms focusing on scalability and simplicity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
- Enable seamless integration of FlashArray into virtualization environments for customers.
Requirements
- Experience across all phases of the software product lifecycle including concept, product definition, MVP, launch, and mature product support.
- Proficiency in Java programming language.
- Openness to learn and work with Go, Python, and/or C programming languages.
- Background in enterprise environments, cloud platforms, or large-scale deployments.
- Knowledge of embedded programming or storage systems is a plus.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to share ideas effectively across teams and roles.
- Ability to design and implement innovative features and technologies that drive high-performance, reliable virtualization integrations.
- Experience owning and delivering FlashArray virtualization plugins end-to-end, from initial concept through to production release.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex challenges across virtualization platforms with a focus on simplicity and scalability.
- Willingness to work from the Prague office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
