The HR Data Specialist - Manager is a leadership role responsible for managing and ensuring the integrity, governance, and optimization of employee data within HR systems, primarily using Workday, while leading a team and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR data specialists
Manage the end-to-end employee data lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, and terminations
Maintain, audit, and enhance data quality and governance standards in Workday
Monitor and improve operational performance metrics, SLAs, and KPIs
Coordinate system enhancements and upgrades with IT
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver accurate reports and analytics
Requirements
Experience in an HR position with at least 3 years leading a team OR significant exposure to HR Business Partner or HR Generalist work activities.
Possess a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.
Strong working knowledge of regional HR legislation employment law, principles, policies, and procedures.
Demonstrate a strong process improvement mindset and a high level of comfort working with technology to develop HR solutions, with understanding of LEAN and AGILE methodologies being a plus.
Excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple engagements autonomously across time zones.
