Job Description
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based storage services, focusing on innovation, automation, and reliable operations using technologies like Go, Python, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms. The position emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement within a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver end-to-end innovation for cloud services from concept to deployment
- Design and develop new features and enhancements for Cloud Block Store (CBS)
- Focus on test automation and ensure reliable operation of services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and peers to improve services and tools
- Use programming languages such as Go and Python to build and maintain services
- Contribute to API design to ensure stable and long-lasting interfaces
- Propose and implement improvements to existing processes and tools
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years experience in software development, using Go, Python, or similar programming language.
- A BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Responsibility for the quality of the delivered work.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Natural curiosity and willingness to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Enthusiasm for software development.
- Ability to own and deliver innovation end-to-end, from concept to a running service or feature.
- Experience with designing and developing new features and enhancements.
- Experience with test automation and reliable operations of the service.
- Experience with REST API design and CI/CD pipelines (beneficial).
- Experience with Kubernetes (cloud DevOps experience would be nice to have).
- Ability to work from the Prague office in compliance with company policies (in-office environment requirement).
