Job Description
The role involves leading and managing global security operations centers, overseeing security monitoring, incident response, and threat analysis to ensure the safety of personnel and assets worldwide, while mentoring teams and maintaining compliance with security policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the 24x7 operations of dual physical security support centers in Santa Clara and Bangalore
- Lead, train, and mentor the security support center team to ensure operational readiness and proficiency
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for incident response and emergency procedures
- Audit and ensure compliance of security systems and physical security policies
- Monitor and report on global security incidents, providing briefings to management and leadership
- Manage relationships with security vendors and partners to ensure effective security coverage
- Support and coordinate incident response, threat analysis, and security investigations
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of proven supervisory experience managing a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) or similar physical security management role in a fast-paced, global 24x7 environment.
- Strong knowledge of managing and operating enterprise security systems, including Access Control Software and IP camera systems.
- Familiarity with security incident management and global risk monitoring platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and maintain emergency response plans and security procedures, including the authority to initiate critical mass communications during security or safety emergencies.
- Experience supporting security vendors and partners to ensure service level agreements are met and appropriate staffing levels are maintained for continuous, effective security coverage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to deliver detailed security briefings to senior leadership and handle high-pressure security situations effectively.
- Ability to work from the Bangalore, India office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
