Job Description
The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing global trade shows and events, managing budgets, vendors, and logistics to create exceptional attendee experiences while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the production and execution of global trade shows and product launches
- Manage budgets, track expenditures, and reconcile invoices for events
- Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery of logistics, creative, and marketing deliverables
- Oversee on-site event activities, including setup, support during events, and breakdown
- Organize and lead planning meetings across different time zones
- Procure and manage relationships with vendors such as exhibit houses, A/V, catering, and freight services
- Develop event materials including staff schedules, training, and event guides
- Manage small ancillary events and hospitality programs related to larger events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution
- 7-10 years of professional experience planning and leading tradeshow events
- Ability and flexibility to travel up to 35% of the time, including weekends, and work overtime as needed to attend events and client meetings
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize competing projects and timelines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with global and senior-level stakeholders
- Proficiency with basic computer programs, including the Google Suite, Asana, Zoom, Slack, Cvent, and Mobile event apps
Benefits & Perks
Salary range: 138,000 - 207,000 USD depending on location
Work environment: primarily in-office at Santa Clara, Bellevue, New York, or Raleigh Durham
Work schedule: flexible time off, ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
