Job Description
The role involves leading the design, governance, and execution of executive and equity compensation programs, partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to support organizational growth, compliance, and employee experience in a dynamic tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, governance, and execution of executive and equity compensation programs.
- Support executive compensation planning cycles, including new hire packages, promotions, and retention strategies.
- Modernize and evolve the company's equity program design, including eligibility, grant approaches, and mechanics.
- Prepare materials for compensation governance discussions with executives and the Board, including disclosures for the annual proxy statement.
- Own and manage core processes related to equity and executive compensation program execution, including operational controls and risk mitigation.
- Conduct benchmarking and market intelligence assessments to inform compensation strategies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, HR) to develop and implement compensation strategies and program changes.
Requirements
- Significant experience in executive compensation in a public-company environment.
- Direct experience supporting compensation committee processes and recurring executive and equity compensation cycles.
- Prior ownership of equity compensation and experience modernizing or redesigning an equity program end-to-end.
- Familiarity with equity plan administration workflows and related operational controls.
- Advanced analytical capability and strong written communication skills for executive-level materials.
- Demonstrated ability to build governance, documentation, and repeatable operating processes for high visibility programs.
- Cross-functional leadership experience working with Legal, Finance, Payroll, and Equity Administration partners.
- Experience engaging with external compensation consultants and managing deliverables.
- Ability to work in an in-office environment at the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with company policies.
