Job Description
This role involves building and leading a ServiceNow development team in Bangalore, overseeing project delivery, mentoring team members, and collaborating with global leadership to align development efforts with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and mentor a ServiceNow development team in Bangalore
- Manage day-to-day operations, people management, and local project execution
- Ensure high-quality delivery of complex projects and enforce coding standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, conducting root cause analysis
- Collaborate with global engineering leadership to align team efforts with strategic goals
- Coordinate with global stakeholders to ensure development efforts meet architectural and release schedules
- Facilitate communication between the local team and global leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
- Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- A proven track record of 5 years in the tech industry, with at least 2 years in a people management or team leadership role.
- Strong technical background in ServiceNow development with 4 years of hands-on experience in customizations, Flow Designer, Client Scripts, Business Rules, integrations, etc.
- Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring an engineering team, with exceptional people management skills.
- Experience working within a geographically distributed, global team is a significant advantage.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is mandatory.
- Experience working in a SAFe team is a strong plus.
