Job Description
A Data Engineer responsible for designing and developing data infrastructure, ETL pipelines, and analytics solutions to support decision-making and strategic initiatives within the data storage industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and automate analytics solutions for End of Life programs to ensure customer transitions and business continuity
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to develop datasets for install base EOL tracking and create replacement recommendation engines with dynamic pricing models
- Build visual metrics to track program success
- Lead the design and delivery of predictive replacement frameworks for proactive customer service
- Troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis on reporting data
Requirements
- 7 years relevant experience with Data Warehousing, ETL Development, Data Modeling, BI tools, and solutioning, preferably with a globally recognized organization.
- Expert level SQL script writing skills, with Snowflake experience preferred.
- Experience in designing and creating data models for BI tools like Tableau.
- Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a similar field of study.
- Ability to develop ETL/ELT pipelines, design data models, and utilize advanced SQL skills to create data warehouse views.
- Experience in data wrangling, designing, and implementing reporting and analytics solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot data issues and conduct root cause analysis when reporting data is in question.
- Willingness to work from the Bangalore office in an in-office environment, in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
