Job Description

A Consulting Field Solution Architect specializing in unstructured data, responsible for promoting Pure Storage solutions through technical evangelism, customer consulting, solution development, and industry trend analysis to drive digital transformation and sales success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote Pure storage solutions through evangelism, technical community engagement, and content creation
  • Consult and advise customers on architecting, managing, and scaling unstructured data systems
  • Participate in customer demos, proof of concepts, webinars, events, and workshops to showcase solutions
  • Influence product and solutions roadmaps by providing field feedback and insights
  • Develop technical content such as walkthroughs, deep dives, and qualification guides for unstructured data solutions
  • Collaborate with sales and partner teams to support sales motions and solution adoption
  • Stay current on internal and external advancements in storage, cloud, and related technologies
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to align strategies and share technical expertise

Requirements

  • Proficient in SMB, NFS, Object storage, file protocols, TCP IP networking, NAS, and enterprise datacenter design.
  • Deep expertise in unstructured data, including legacy challenges, key use cases, solution areas, innovation trends, and industry direction.
  • Ten (10) years of IT and cloud infrastructure experience across compute, storage, networking, cloud, business continuity, and performance.
  • Expertise in NAS architecture, design, and solution development for enterprise environments.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset focused on solving challenges and delivering meaningful business outcomes.
  • Experience in designing and supporting data architectures for large enterprises.
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly adopt new technologies and apply innovative, creative thinking.
  • Exceptional content creation, public speaking, technical training, and presentation skills.
  • Ability and desire to learn new emerging technologies and applications in the ecosystem.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to partner across organizations including sales and alliances to deliver technical messaging.
  • Effective communication skills capable of engaging constructively with leadership, peers, customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, rapidly evolving technology environments.
  • Ability to generate differentiated, proactive ideas that support solution adoption and drive sales outcomes.
  • Experience in participating in customer-facing calls, demos, POCs, webinars, events, workshops, and presentations.
  • Ability to create field-facing solutions content such as technical walkthroughs, deep dives, qualification guides, etc.
  • Partner with Sales SE Leaders for two-way feedback and communication related to unstructured data sales motions.
  • Ability to influence solutions roadmap and participate in internal strategy sizing sessions.
  • Maintain awareness of advancements in internal product offerings, external partner offerings, and competitors' offerings.
  • Frequent activity and presence on Slack to help drive customer opportunity influence.
  • Ability to communicate, connect, and align people within the team and develop internal relationships across the organization.
