Job Description
The role involves providing technical guidance, enablement, and support for Pure Storage's Analytics AI solutions, including creating content, conducting demos and webinars, and collaborating with sales and partners to drive adoption and success in high-performance data environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Create field-facing solutions content such as technical walkthroughs, deep dives, demos, and qualification guides for Analytics AI solutions.
- Conduct webinars, events, and presentations to educate internal teams, partners, and customers about Analytics AI offerings.
- Participate in customer calls, demos, proof of concepts, and strategy sessions to support solution adoption and sales.
- Stay updated on advancements in internal products and solutions, and develop enablement plans accordingly.
- Engage in field testing and document insights to improve solution deployment and understanding.
- Troubleshoot post-sales issues with expert knowledge of solutions.
- Collaborate with sales leaders and cross-functional teams to align initiatives and gather feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience
- 8 years of Pre-sales experience in IT
- Strong technical acumen in the Analytics AI space with deep interest and vision for the industry
- Strong understanding of the infrastructure servers, networking, storage, etc that underpins a high performance environment
- Experience leading from the front with a strong reputation as an industry-respected technical evangelist with demonstrated deep expertise in key technologies
- Exceptional level of specialized sales with Analytics AI product solution knowledge and a solid understanding of Pure Storage competitive domain in these technologies
- Ability to articulate and understand the customer strategy and Pure Storage solution strategy to a technical level of detail
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple to understand manner to teach account teams and partners about Pure's Analytics AI solutions
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills
- Proficiency with G-Suite, CRM, and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com
- Strong technical and tactical problem-solving skills and experience with complex engineering designs
- Knowledge of the Analytics AI landscape and how they all play together at Pure for a specific customer outcome, including applications such as Splunk, Elastic Search, Kafka, Spark, Snowflake, Vertica, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc., and familiarity with Nvidia products, cloud providers AWS, Azure, GCP in virtualized or containerized environments
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory and other locations throughout the US and abroad, approximately 50 to 60%
- Strong work ethic, attitude, and follow-through ability
