Job Description

This role involves designing and overseeing the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash ecosystem, primarily focusing on integrating Salesforce and Zuora platforms to support subscription billing, revenue recognition, and business growth through technical solutions and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Design and oversee the architecture of the Salesforce-to-Zuora integration to ensure data integrity and scalability.
Translate high-level business strategies into detailed technical solutions supporting subscription lifecycle management.
Configure and guide development of Zuora Billing and Revenue modules, including custom code, API integrations, and workflow automation.
Collaborate with Sales Ops, Finance, and Product teams to align the IT roadmap with business needs and support product launches.
Establish and enforce best practices for system design, coding, and configuration to prevent technical debt.
Troubleshoot complex systemic issues within billing systems and integrations impacting revenue recognition and customer experience.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT applications, with at least 3 years specifically as a Solution or Technical Design focusing on Quote-to-Cash.
Deep hands-on experience in Zuora Central, Billing, and Revenue RevPro, including understanding Zuora Object Models and APIs.
Strong proficiency in Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ Configure, Price, Quote.
Solid understanding of integration middleware Boomi and REST SOAP APIs.
Proficiency in SQL and data modeling for complex subscription analytics.
Expert-level understanding of ASC 606 and IFRS 15 standards as they apply to SaaS and hardware-as-a-service models.
Proven ability to lead technical teams through the SDLC from discovery and design to UAT and deployment.
Exceptional ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical executive stakeholders.
Work from the Bengaluru office in compliance with company policies; remote work is not specified as an option.
Candidates must be able to serve as the primary architect responsible for end-to-end design of the Quote-to-Cash ecosystem, including Salesforce-to-Zuora integration.
Ability to transform high-level business strategies into detailed technical blueprints supporting complex subscription lifecycles such as ramps, swaps, cancels, and renewals.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Zuora Billing and Revenue modules, including configuration, custom code guidance, API integrations, and workflow automation.
Establish and enforce design patterns, coding standards, and configuration best practices, and conduct architectural reviews to prevent technical debt.
Lead troubleshooting of complex systemic issues within billing engine or integration layer that impact revenue recognition or customer experience.
