Job Description
The role involves designing and overseeing the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash ecosystem, including Salesforce and Zuora platforms, to support the company's subscription and renewals business, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the architecture of the Salesforce-to-Zuora integration ensuring data integrity and scalability
- Translate high-level business strategies into detailed technical blueprints for Quote-to-Cash processes
- Configure and guide development of Zuora Billing and Revenue modules, including custom code, API integrations, and workflows
- Collaborate with Sales Ops, Finance, and Product teams to align IT roadmap with product launches and pricing models
- Establish and enforce best practices for system design, coding, and configuration to prevent technical debt
- Troubleshoot complex systemic issues within billing systems and integrations impacting revenue recognition and customer experience
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT applications, with at least 3 years specifically as a Solution or Technical Design focusing on Quote-to-Cash.
- Deep hands-on experience in Zuora Central, Billing, and Revenue RevPro, including understanding of Zuora Object Models and APIs.
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ Configure, Price, Quote.
- Solid understanding of integration middleware Boomi and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling for complex subscription analytics.
- Expert-level understanding of ASC 606 and IFRS 15 standards as they apply to SaaS and hardware-as-a-service models.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from discovery and design to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment.
- Exceptional ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical executive stakeholders.
- Work from the Bengaluru office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
