Join our FlashBlade engineering team in Prague and help build backend services that support a high-performance, distributed storage platform. You will work on systems and services that improve reliability, scalability, orchestration, and the overall developer and customer experience.
This role is a strong fit for an engineer who enjoys solving complex backend and distributed-systems problems, wants to take ownership of production services, and is excited to work closely with teams across Prague and the US.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Design, build, and maintain backend services and platform components.
• Develop reliable and scalable services with a focus on orchestration, resiliency, and platform quality.
• Contribute to distributed systems that must operate correctly under scale, concurrency, and failure scenarios.
• Create clean, stable APIs and help evolve service interfaces that are maintainable over time.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and other cross-functional partners from design through production support.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, improve resilience, and help raise the quality bar across the platform.
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building backend or system-level components in production.
• Experience in Go, or strong backend programming experience in another language with willingness to learn and switch to Go.
• Experience with distributed systems, concurrency, and scalable service design.
• Solid API design and service development skills.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with an ownership mindset from design through delivery and ongoing improvement.
• A collaborative way of working and clear communication across teams and functions.
• Familiarity with Python, Kubernetes, containers, cloud-native systems, or observability tooling is a plus.
