An Accounting Intern role focused on supporting finance modernization initiatives, including ERP implementation and automation, while assisting with month-end closing processes and financial data analysis in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Core Finance ERP implementation project by assisting with process improvements and automation initiatives.
Help execute monthly closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making and ad hoc financial projects.
Build foundational expertise in core accounting operations and cross-functional financial analysis.
Requirements
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field with a strong interest in finance process improvement and automation.
Proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to leverage AI-assisted tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini to enhance financial analysis, identify patterns, and synthesize insights while maintaining accuracy, data integrity, and strong attention to detail.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally, ask thoughtful questions, and proactively solve problems.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Ability to support the execution of monthly closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
Ability to compile and analyze financial data sets to provide insights for critical decision-making and ad hoc financial projects.
Ability to support process improvements and automation initiatives that increase the efficiency of global financial operations as part of the Core Finance ERP implementation project.
Willingness to work primarily in an in-office environment at the Santa Clara, CA office, in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
