Job Description

The role involves developing new business and managing customer relationships as an Account Executive in the enterprise storage technology sector, focusing on promoting innovative solutions, collaborating with partners, and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and build relationships with customers and channel partners
  • Promote and advocate for all-flash enterprise storage solutions
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to secure new customers
  • Manage sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales quotas
  • Collaborate with partners such as Channel, GSI, and Ecosystem Partners to position products
  • Develop and execute strategies to close deals consistently
  • Present proposals and communicate the benefits of Pure Storage solutions

Requirements

  • 10 years of field sales experience
  • Experience with direct and indirect sales with Enterprise customers
  • Experience working with Channel, GSI, and Ecosystem Partners
  • Advanced prospecting skills required for engaging new customers
  • Proven success in exceeding sales quotas and maintaining a robust sales pipeline
  • Strong drive for sales and relationship building
  • Goal-oriented attitude and desire to drive change
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of cloud computing and Data Centre Architecture
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
