Key Responsibilities
Evangelize and demonstrate the value of Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction and establish Pure's value proposition
Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new business
Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
Identify and prospect new customers, opening doors and positioning solutions effectively
Assess customer needs and tailor solutions to address their business challenges
Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork with internal teams and partners
Drive post-sales customer success and ensure ongoing customer engagement
Requirements
5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10 million USD per year in revenues
Experience selling into Commercial customers in Northern Virginia or the DC Metro Area
Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and win new customers
Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business
Experience building and investing in customer relationships to establish value and drive customer satisfaction
Ability to build and manage a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
Expertise leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners
Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, to build and deepen customer relationships
Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency
Strong prospecting skills with a proven ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and the data center
Ability to evangelize and explain all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions, ensuring customers understand the total value proposition
Demonstrated thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset in applying customer insights and technology solutions
Physical and mental capacity to engage in a sales role that involves frequent travel, prospecting, and customer engagement
