The role involves building and managing customer relationships, driving full-cycle sales of data storage solutions, and collaborating with partners to deliver outcomes for mid-market organizations in the Stuttgart region.
Key Responsibilities
Build and grow customer relationships across Baden Württemberg.
Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
Collaborate with Presales, Channel, and Marketing teams to build pipeline and achieve results.
Work with channel, GSI, and ecosystem partners to position and sell the Pure Storage platform.
Create and execute account strategies and coordinate team selling with partners.
Forecast sales accurately and close business on a regular cadence.
Develop and present proposals highlighting business outcomes and platform value.
Maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting and partner co-selling.
Manage activities, pipeline, and forecasts using Salesforce.com.
Requirements
Proficiency with Salesforce.com and common productivity tools
Business-fluent German and English communication skills in both written and verbal forms
Ability to lead complex sales cycles and partner with multiple stakeholders across IT and the business
Effective prospecting and partner co-selling skills to build and maintain a robust pipeline
Experience in creating and executing account strategies, coordinating team selling with partners, forecasting accurately, and closing business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual cadence
Strong time management and communication skills
Ability to develop and present compelling proposals that clearly articulate business outcomes and the value of the Pure Storage platform
Customer focus with the ability to cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with customers and partners
Knowledge of storage industry concepts such as SAN, NAS, and modern data solutions, including cloud storage literacy
Willingness to learn and adapt, with a focus on outcomes and customer empathy
