Job Description
The role involves developing new business and promoting innovative all-flash enterprise storage solutions, building strong customer relationships, and collaborating with partners to achieve sales targets within the commercial sector in London and the South.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business by engaging with channel resellers and key customer accounts
- Collaborate with Sales, Pre-sales, Partner sales, and Field Marketing teams to drive success
- Promote all-flash enterprise storage technology to customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to secure new customers
- Manage sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales quotas
- Work with channel, GSI, and ecosystem partners to position Pure Storage solutions
- Develop and implement strategies to close deals consistently
- Present proposals highlighting the benefits of Pure Storage solutions
- Achieve sales targets and maintain a robust sales pipeline
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of full life cycle field sales experience.
- Experience with direct and indirect sales on London and South Commercial accounts, ideally with some experience of Hedge Funds and similar Financial Services Industry (FSI) accounts.
- Advanced prospecting skills required for engaging new customers.
- Proven success in exceeding sales quotas and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Excellent time management and communication skills, with professional business-level written and spoken English language skills.
- Broad understanding of technology, specifically in infrastructure, data, and security, and how it solves client needs.
