Job Description
The role involves selling all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers in Indiana and Kentucky, building strong customer relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding sales targets through consultative and team-based selling approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
- Build and invest in customer relationships to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and win new customers
- Drive and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
- Assess customer needs, develop strategies, and actively manage territories for maximum revenue
- Lead complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and collaboration
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10 million USD per year in revenues.
- Experience selling into Commercial customers in Indiana and Kentucky, with current residence in either state.
- Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to ensure all internal resources are engaged to execute and win new customers.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business.
- Experience building and investing in customer relationships to establish value and drive customer satisfaction.
- Ability to build and manage a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Expertise leading a complex sales process involving multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, with the ability to build and deepen relationships over time.
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
- Demonstrated prospecting skills, with a proven ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and data center environments.
- Ability to apply customer insights and technology solutions expertise to position Pure Storage’s portfolio effectively.
- Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges.
- Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset to apply insights and position solutions effectively.
- Experience leading and managing the entire sales cycle with multiple stakeholders, including internal teams and strategic partners.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, to build and deepen customer relationships.
- Physical ability to engage in activities related to sales and customer engagement as required.

Annual base salary range: 108,500 - 163,000 USD
