The role involves selling all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers, building strong relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding quotas through consultative and team-based sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Evangelize and demonstrate the value of Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction and drive business growth
Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
Apply customer insights and technology expertise to position Pure's solutions and solve client challenges
Prospect and open new customer accounts through effective prospecting and relationship-building
Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork internally and with partners
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
Consistently delivering between 5 million and 10 million USD in revenues per year.
Experience selling into Commercial customers in the Greater Dallas Metro area, with current residence in or near Dallas, Texas.
Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to ensure all internal resources are engaged to execute and win new customers.
Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business.
Expertise in leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, with the ability to build and deepen customer relationships over time.
Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
Avid hunter with proven prospecting skills, consistently opening doors to new customers and navigating between the boardroom and the data center.
Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges.
