Job Description
The role involves selling Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers in Northern California, building strong customer relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding sales targets through prospecting and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate overall strategy and relationships with assigned accounts
- Lead team-selling efforts with teammates and strategic partners to close business
- Evangelize Pure Storage's data storage technology and solutions to customers
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and win new customers
- Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
- Assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory for maximum revenue
- Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience selling into Commercial customers in Northern California, with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving referenceable business.
- Currently residing in the Bay Area or willing to work in that location.
- Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and win new customers.
- Ability to build and invest in customer relationships to establish value and drive customer satisfaction.
- Experience building a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Proven prospecting skills with the ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and the data center.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, to build and deepen customer relationships.
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to maximize revenue and efficiency.
- Experience leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
- A consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving referenceable business.
- Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges.
- Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset to apply customer insights and technology solutions effectively.
- Avid hunter with proven prospecting skills and the ability to position Pure Storage solutions effectively.
- Ability to evangelize Pure Storage’s all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers.
- Strong desire and ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with customers and partners.
Benefits & Perks
Annual base salary range of $119,000 to $178,500 USD
