Job Description
This role involves leading enterprise sales efforts in the AI and HPC markets, promoting innovative data storage solutions, building strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth in the Asia Pacific and Japan regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Evangelize and promote Pure's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers in Asia Pacific and Japan.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to demonstrate Pure's value proposition and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources for customer acquisition.
- Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within assigned territories or accounts.
- Engage with key decision-makers and influencers to build strong relationships.
- Stay informed about AI industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics.
- Collaborate with product teams to provide market feedback and influence product development.
- Work with sales engineers, product specialists, and customer success teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Partner with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and participate in industry events.
- Refine sales strategies and messaging in collaboration with leadership.
Requirements
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within assigned territories or accounts.
- Track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target organizations across Asia Pacific, Japan.
- Staying at the forefront of AI industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics.
- Ability to articulate the value proposition of solutions in the context of AI and HPC workloads.
- Ability to engage in thoughtful discussions about AI and HPC applications, data pipelines, and infrastructure requirements.
- Collaborate with the product team to provide market feedback and influence product roadmap.
- Work closely with sales engineers, product specialists, and customer success teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Partner with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and attend industry events.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine sales strategies and processes, messaging.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ten (10) years of enterprise sales experience, with at least three (3) years of sales business development selling to AI and HPC related technologies or solutions, with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
- Clear experience selling business solutions to the C-Suite, SVP, VP levels of Fortune 1000 companies.
- Demonstrable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding multi-million-dollar sales quotas in a high-growth environment.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and their AI/ML services.
- Strong understanding of AI and HPC technologies, machine learning workflows, and related infrastructure requirements.
- Familiarity with data analytics, big data technologies, and data science workflows.
- Experience outside of traditional storage for the past five (5) consecutive years.
- Must be located in Singapore and willing to travel.
- Willingness to work from the Singapore office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
