Job Description
The Incentive Operations Analyst is responsible for analyzing data, optimizing incentive program workflows, and supporting operational improvements to enhance performance and transparency across clean energy incentive initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards to monitor key performance metrics
- Analyze operational and automation data to identify inefficiencies and revenue leakage
- Monitor incentive program performance across multiple states and program types
- Deliver reports and insights for business reviews and executive updates
- Prepare and present data-driven slide decks to communicate performance insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast capacity and prioritize resources
- Lead or support projects aimed at process improvement and backlog reduction
- Support new program rollouts through workflow mapping, documentation, and tracking
- Update trackers and dashboards to monitor progress against goals
- Assist with time-sensitive incentive submissions, audits, and cross-functional initiatives
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in operations analysis, business intelligence, project coordination, or a similar analytical role
- Bachelor's degree in business, public policy, environmental science, data analytics, or a related field
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets including pivot tables
- Proficiency in SQL
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or Sigma
- Strong analytical thinker with a bias for action able to turn complex data into actionable insights and clear recommendations
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workflows and priorities concurrently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence in creating executive-facing slide decks and communicating data insights
- Comfortable working independently and navigating ambiguity, while collaborating effectively across departments
- Demonstrated interest in clean energy, incentive programs, or operational excellence (preferred but not mandatory)
- Physical ability to perform duties involving regular speaking, listening, standing, walking, using hands to handle or feel objects, reaching with arms, and occasionally sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Ability to frequently lift and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds
- Vision requirements including the ability to focus at close and long distances, distinguish colors, maintain peripheral awareness, perceive depth, and make precise focus adjustments
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $65,000 - $95,000 USD
Work schedule: Hybrid position with location options in New Orleans, LA; Houston, TX; Salt Lake City, UT; Denver, CO
