As a Product Manager for Real-Time Insights at Planet, you will lead the charge in transforming how the world interacts with Earth observation data. You will be responsible for a cutting-edge, multi-mission capability designed to collapse the time between "observation" and "action." By leveraging technologies like on-satellite edge computing, rapid tasking, and ultra-low latency downlink, you will enable customers to make critical decisions in minutes, not days.
You will own the product lifecycle from concept to launch, navigating the technical trade-offs of space-based processing while ensuring a seamless experience for users in high-stakes environments like emergency response and national defense. This role is central to Planet’s mission of making global change visible, accessible and actionable, specifically where every second counts.
This is a full-time, hybrid role which will require you to work from our San Francisco office 3 days per week.
