Job Description
The role involves developing and executing marketing strategies for Planet's AI-enabled Earth observation solutions, translating complex technical data into compelling narratives, supporting sales and product teams, and driving market growth across various industries including government and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain marketing assets such as datasheets, demos, presentations, and case studies to support sales and marketing efforts.
- Position and promote AI-enabled Earth data solutions across various industries to drive customer adoption.
- Collaborate with product teams to translate complex technical information into clear narratives for diverse audiences.
- Support go-to-market initiatives by assessing market gaps and identifying expansion opportunities.
- Create interactive demos and narratives to showcase AI-enabled solutions' capabilities.
- Deliver internal and external presentations, webinars, and industry events to evangelize the company's solutions.
- Monitor market trends and customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree
- 6 years of product or solutions marketing experience
- Experience positioning and marketing AI-enabled products for B2G enterprise customers
- Exceptional active listening and interpersonal skills
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Creative and analytical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize information
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience partnering with product, sales, and executive stakeholders and communicating across leadership
- Excellent organizational skills and being a self-starter with the ability to collaborate across departments
- This position requires access to export-controlled information, and employment or hiring of a contractor is contingent upon the candidate's ability to access all applicable export-controlled information without additional export licensing being required by the Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls
