Job Description
The role involves leading global revenue marketing efforts for Planet, focusing on demand generation, digital marketing, event management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive pipeline growth and support sales across multiple regions and sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a multi-channel demand generation strategy to drive qualified opportunities and pipeline.
- Provide marketing support for global sales teams and lead regional marketing efforts to ensure alignment with sales objectives.
- Oversee global events to enhance brand awareness, customer loyalty, and lead generation.
- Manage and optimize digital demand generation channels such as SEM, paid social, webinars, SEO, and integrated campaigns.
- Use data and analytics to monitor, optimize, and allocate marketing budgets for maximum ROI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Marketing, Sales, Data Science, and Revenue Operations to align messaging and campaigns.
- Hire, manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team to support growth and cohesion.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in B2B demand generation at a technology-focused enterprise-scale business.
- 8 years of management experience, building and scaling teams of 10 or more professionals.
- Experience leading marketing directors who oversee regional or specialized functions.
- Experience marketing technical products, data, analytics, and platforms in Defense Intelligence (D I), Civil Government, and Commercial sectors.
- Experience supporting Go-To-Market motions.
- Experience impacting sales teams in North America, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC regions.
- Ability to learn complex technical domains, especially how Planet’s unique data assets fit within multimodal AI models.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with an ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to set a broader strategic direction and bring cohesion across diverse marketing teams and regional leads.

US base salary range of $231,500 - $289,400 USD
