Job Description
The role involves leading global demand generation and marketing operations for a space and data company, focusing on developing strategic digital marketing initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and driving revenue growth through innovative, data-driven campaigns and account-based marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital demand generation strategy to drive qualified opportunities and pipeline.
- Manage and optimize core digital marketing channels including SEM, paid social, SEO, and display advertising.
- Design and implement integrated digital campaigns such as webinars and sponsorships targeting high-value customer segments.
- Build and scale account-based marketing (ABM) frameworks aligned with sales objectives using intent data and personalization.
- Oversee lifecycle marketing efforts, including identity-resolved journeys, trigger design, and measurement.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor channel performance, optimize budget allocation, and demonstrate marketing ROI.
- Oversee marketing operations to ensure the MarTech stack is optimized, data governance is maintained, and lead routing is efficient.
- Refine and own the marketing attribution model for campaign performance visibility and optimization.
- Collaborate with sales, product marketing, data science, and revenue operations to align messaging, campaigns, and metrics.
- Lead strategic initiatives involving AI and automation to enhance marketing efficiency and personalization.
- Hire, manage, mentor, and coach a team of digital demand generation and marketing operations professionals.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in B2B demand generation at a technology-focused enterprise-scale business.
- 8 years of management experience, building and scaling teams of 4 or more professionals.
- Experience marketing technical products, data, analytics, and platform solutions in Defense Intelligence (D I), Civil Government, and Commercial sectors.
- Experience supporting Go-To-Market motions.
- Experience successfully aligning global sales teams across North America, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC to accelerate pipeline and revenue across multiple verticals.
- Ability to learn complex technical domains, especially how Planet’s unique data assets fit within multimodal AI models.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with an ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to set a broader direction and bring cohesion across diverse marketing teams and regional leads.
- Familiarity with AI-first growth marketing strategies and implementing solutions to scale.
