Job Description
The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems to protect the company's data and infrastructure from cyber threats, including conducting vulnerability assessments, incident response, and developing security policies in a global, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security systems to protect data and infrastructure from cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and respond to security incidents
- Manage and support security tools such as log collection, security scanning, intrusion detection, and endpoint detection and response (EDR)
- Create and automate security processes using APIs, Shell, PowerShell, or workflows like Okta
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on security initiatives
- Monitor and manage security threat levels on a day-to-day basis
Requirements
- Own 2 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems, conducting vulnerability assessments, responding to incidents, developing security policies, and monitoring networks.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Maintain day-to-day security threat management.
- Manage and support log collection, security scanning, intrusion detection, and other security-related systems.
- Ability to create and build automations via API, Shell, Powershell, or Okta Workflows.
- Experience with EDR, vulnerability scanners, SIEMs, MDM, and other common security tools.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and authentication standards.
- Knowledge of operating system internals, and a core competency in one of the following: Identity and Access, Infrastructure Hardening macOS, Windows, Linux, ChromeOS, SaaS Security, and Assurance and validation.
- Solid hands-on experience with Okta administration, workflows, and identity management.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while prioritizing tasks and work independently under minimal supervision.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation performing security incident response.
- Experience with security tools including EDR, vulnerability scanners, SIEMs, MDM, and other common security tools.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and authentication standards.
- Knowledge of operating system internals, and a core competency in one of the following: Identity and Access, Infrastructure Hardening macOS, Windows, Linux, ChromeOS, SaaS Security, and Assurance and validation.
- Solid hands-on experience with Okta administration, workflows, and identity management.
- Experience in the following core security domains: Corporate Identity, Endpoint Security, Data Loss Prevention, Device Trust, SaaS Security, Zero Trust.
