Job Description
The Project Engineer II supports engineering and quality control during the construction and commissioning of solar and energy storage projects, reviewing technical documents, coordinating with engineers, and providing technical assistance to ensure project success in the renewable energy industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Support engineering and quality control efforts during construction and commissioning of solar projects
- Review construction drawings, PVsyst reports, and commissioning documents to ensure compliance with technical specifications and industry standards
- Coordinate with Independent and Owner's Engineers to address technical questions
- Collaborate with internal project management on project activities, especially related to battery energy storage systems
- Provide technical assistance for operational assets
Requirements
- Support engineering and quality control efforts for projects during construction and commissioning, providing technical assistance as needed for operational assets.
- Review construction drawings, PVsyst reports, and commissioning documents to ensure projects meet the requirements of Pivot's Technical Specifications and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with Independent and Owner's Engineers to address technical questions related to the projects.
- Collaborate with internal project management to support project activities, especially as it relates to battery energy storage systems.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Be able to interact frequently with external stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience supporting engineering and quality control efforts in renewable energy projects, specifically solar and energy storage projects.
