Job Description
Provides customer service by answering incoming calls and greeting visitors in a professional manner, while managing switchboard operations and supporting safety initiatives in a part-time role.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the switchboard to handle incoming calls efficiently and courteously
- Answer all incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Greet visitors professionally and ensure they sign in according to safety procedures
- Provide information about the company’s products, structure, and operations to callers and visitors
- Promote safety initiatives and report unsafe or suspicious activities to HR
Requirements
- Answer all incoming calls and handle phone calls in an efficient and courteous manner.
- Greet all visitors in a courteous professional manner.
- Maintain and operate the switchboard.
- Act as a customer resource regarding the products, structure, and operation of the company to direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate individual.
- Responsible for visitors signing of safety initiatives per process spec SU H-7 64009 and maintaining visitor PC greetings.
- Play an active role in promoting safety and reporting unsafe or suspicious activity to HR personnel.
- Possess knowledge of and basic skills in MS Word and Excel.
- Be attentive to details.
- Maintain a neat, professional appearance.
- Have a strong customer service orientation.
- Be able to complete Kelly Services application, onboarding, and pre-employment screening process.
