This role involves leading technical functions to optimize production and manufacturing processes, including equipment setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, quality control, and process improvements, to ensure efficient and safe operation of production lines.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, calibrate, configure, and operate production equipment according to SOPs
Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs on automated systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in machinery and electronic equipment
Perform soldering, hand assembly, rework, and packaging of parts
Monitor and inspect electronic equipment, maintaining accurate records
Follow product specifications, blueprints, and SOPs to ensure proper equipment operation
Assist in quality control to ensure products meet standards
Manage and report production and maintenance data using software systems
Organize parts lists and spare parts inventory for proactive maintenance
Complete qualification documentation for machines, procedures, and processes
Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and improve productivity
Support Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing initiatives
Adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHAS 18001 procedures
Requirements
Associate degree in a technical field such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial technology, or another related field, or 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience with a high school diploma.
Experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in a similar industry production work.
Knowledge of industry standards, latest technological advancements, and safety protocols.
Certified Production Technician (CPT) certification.
Knowledge of ISO 9001.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma.
Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Able to use a pallet jack with a 300-pound load.
Able to use a portable staircase and climb to 12-foot heights.
Able to carry 20-pound, 3 cubic feet boxes up and down portable staircase.
Able to push a 4-wheeled cart with a 100-pound load.
Able to work a 6-day week if required.
Able to stand or sit continually for four hours without a break.
Able to travel to offsite locations including German Headquarters for periods of up to 2 to 3 weeks.
