Job Description
A Product Marketing Intern at Phoenix Contact assists with technical product marketing strategies, including data gathering, content creation, competitive analysis, and supporting product launches, gaining hands-on experience in digital content, product lifecycle, and market research within a global manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend product team meetings to review launches, pricing, and competitive trends
- Gather data for product management dashboards and update product-facing materials
- Collaborate with Marketing Communications on content formatting
- Meet with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Engineering teams to gather product details
- Draft product positioning slides and competitive comparison materials
- Compile performance reports and update product management templates
- Assist with e-learning content migration and cleanup tasks
Requirements
- Must be a current college student majoring in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or Product Management.
- Strong PowerPoint and storytelling abilities.
- Courses in B2B Marketing, Product Management, and Market Research.
- Exposure to CMS platforms.
- Web data analytics experience.
- Basic understanding of pricing strategy and competitive assessments.
- Comfort using AI tools for content creation and research support.
- Ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time up to 4 hours.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, 2-4 hours at a time.
- Must be able to commute to the Middletown, PA office.
- On-time and regular attendance is required.
