Job Description

The AS RS Technician I supports maintenance and troubleshooting of automated storage and retrieval systems in a logistics facility, performing routine repairs, documenting activities, and collaborating with external partners to ensure system performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support preventative maintenance of the automated storage and retrieval system (AS RS) conveyor equipment
  • Perform routine work orders and troubleshoot system failures to support warehouse operations
  • Collaborate with OEMs and subcontractors to diagnose and resolve system errors
  • Document maintenance activities, error resolutions, and work orders in the CMMS software
  • Assist with general facility maintenance tasks as prioritized by the Facilities Manager

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Five 3-5 years experience in large logistics facility maintenance operations.
  • Ability to read and use engineering drawings.
  • Good understanding of controls and automated systems.
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours a day.
  • Must be able to climb up to 50 feet.
  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
  • Must have a valid driver s license and be able to use own vehicle for local trips with reimbursement.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and PRN overtime.
  • Must be willing to support the facility maintenance team in a collaborative environment.
  • Must be able to handle extreme temperatures.
  • Must be able to drive for up to 2 hours.
  • Must be able to speak and understand English to communicate verbally and in writing.
