Job Description
The Investment Manager will lead financial modeling, due diligence, and M&A activities for utility-scale renewable energy projects, supporting strategic investment decisions and project financing within a fast-growing clean energy platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models for utility-scale renewable energy projects
- Conduct financial analysis and sensitivity testing to support strategic decisions
- Perform comprehensive due diligence for project financing, assessing financial risks and opportunities
- Lead M&A workstreams, including investment evaluation, financial analysis, and deal structuring
- Manage negotiations of transaction documents such as joint venture agreements and sales contracts
- Create and deliver financial reports highlighting key performance indicators and trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field is a prerequisite.
- An MBA in Finance is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting due diligence for renewable project financing is mandatory.
- Proven track record in creating and leveraging financial models for M A activity, specifically within the utility-scale renewable energy domain.
- Financial modelling capability will be assessed early in the hiring process.
- Above 6 years work experience in the investments space for infrastructure, particularly at the asset level.
- Platform level renewable project experience will also be useful.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis is paramount.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills are essential.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong aptitude for time management and organizational prowess.
