The Senior Technical Program Manager for Marine Operations will oversee the deployment and support of ocean energy devices, coordinating cross-functional teams, external vendors, and logistics to ensure successful testing, deployment, and maintenance of renewable ocean energy systems.
Key Responsibilities
Manage project milestone schedules for Marine Operations, ensuring clear communication of status, risks, and dependencies.
Lead scheduling and coordination of Node Program deployment operations in the Pacific Northwest.
Collaborate with external vendors, fabrication partners, and marine logistics vendors to ensure timely delivery and deployment.
Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment and efficient execution.
Monitor, escalate, and contribute to mitigation of program risks.
Drive change management processes from ideation through fabrication and deployment.
Develop and maintain documentation and tools to support program execution and scaling.
Translate test objectives into execution plans and collaborate with stakeholders to execute test campaigns and commissioning activities.
Requirements
Five years of experience managing technical development programs, including directly coordinating major events such as first time integration, test campaign execution, or commissioning activities.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to meet aggressive program timelines.
Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals relevant to marine systems, including welded structures, mechanical assemblies, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial automation data acquisition.
Experience coordinating with external vendors and fabrication partners to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of components.
Familiarity with change management systems and configuration control processes.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative environment.
Ability to travel as needed for site visits and partner engagements.
Intermittently able to work longer hours and weekends to support critical needs.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
