Job Description
The Operations Specialist II supports Palmetto's financial products by managing underwriting, technical documentation, installer support, and process improvements to ensure smooth transactions and ecosystem efficiency within the renewable energy financing platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage underwriting and technical document processing for financial products
- Provide installer support to facilitate smooth transaction intake
- Maintain and update knowledge base resources and support systems
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve transaction friction points
- Support and train sales representatives and transaction partners
- Monitor and ensure compliance in financial transactions
- Manage queues within the financial portal to ensure efficient processing
- Surface platform improvements based on observed issues
- Assist in evaluating and improving internal processes and systems
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer, tech, or sales support role.
- Knowledge of the construction or solar industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in web-browser hotkeys shortcuts.
- High typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
- Excellent conversational writing skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, computer-oriented environment.
- Willingness to support frontline sales reps and team members to successfully transact on the Palmetto financial product platform, demonstrating a passion for servant leadership.
- High level of emotional intelligence, able to navigate through stressful situations in a tactful manner.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 3PM to 11PM EST or 12PM to 8PM PST, with some schedule flexibility possible.
- Employment contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
